It’s been too long. If you didn’t try In and Out 9, I think it was awesome: http://spookymilk.wordpress.com/2012/09/13/in-out-9/
Here is a refresher to the rules or for those of you first timers.
The game starts out with one person who picks a theme of some sort and is the only person who is “in”. He then lists three things that are part of that theme to get people started. Next, people start listing three things and anybody who is “in” will respond with yes or no to each of them. Once somebody puts down three things that are all “yes”, the people who are “in” will usually decide to declare him in (unless for some reason they are not sure that person has guessed the theme, but normally you just declare them in).
A sample game might go like this:
I post
red
blue
green
to start off the game. So Spooky guesses
orange
poop
dinosaur
to which I respond “Yes, no, no”. At this point, Spooky figures out that the theme is colors and guesses
magenta
cyan
black
To which I say “Yes, yes, yes. You are in.” Then Spooky can start answering yes or no to anybody’s questions. The game goes on until people decide to stop.
Here are your three starter words for this game. Good luck!

You’ve just been waiting to use that one, haven’t you?
I thought I was onto something with that last one.
January 11, 2013 at 10:37 am
I see what you were trying for. However, the meaning of successful words are insignificant to the theme.
January 11, 2013 at 12:11 pm
Yeah. You’ve said that. And I still can’t see it.
January 11, 2013 at 12:31 pm
I’m with you Novak. Here’s what we know:
Words that start(?) with STR, DON, CON, GLA, VIO all qualify but not necessarily have to be (see Spooky’s)
One syllable words appear to be in
Assigning simple numbers to letters (1=a, 2=b. 3=c…) doesn’t appear to apply.
Some pattern of syllables doesn’t apply (spooky’s are two syllables, Beau has 1, 2, 4 syllables)
What else do we know/don’t know?
January 11, 2013 at 1:18 pm
This actually helped me a ton. Thanks Free!

Those correct answers didn’t help me at all. Anyone else throughout what we do and don’t know? Does the order of words matter? For instance could Novak had said Beast Reams Gaelic?
January 11, 2013 at 1:42 pm
Let’s put it this way- your last post is what made it click for me. Some stuff jumped out.
January 11, 2013 at 1:50 pm
Specifically something in the earlier half of your post.
January 11, 2013 at 2:10 pm
I’ve also been doing some minor and some major hinting along the way.
January 11, 2013 at 3:03 pm
I was gonna work through it last night but didn’t.
Still not sure. I’ve noticed that all of adobery’s comments seem to be baseball-related.
January 11, 2013 at 3:05 pm
Yeah, that’s the one thing I’ve been trying to use to get into this theme. But I dunno where to go from there.
January 11, 2013 at 3:09 pm
Definitely baseball, also it appears that my point out the STR, VIO, CON, DON, GLA, could start or be part of the words was was got Novak and KG to figure it out.
January 11, 2013 at 3:16 pm
I couldn’t figure out if the baseball thing was a hint or if that’s just how all y’all talk all the time. I looked over a list of baseball abbreviations but nothing clicked for me.
