Round 2 is underway. If you are displeased with it starting so late, direct your ire at Gilman, because he put a puzzle out, and when you give me a good puzzle, I become obsessed like AMR when he…well…breathes.
You will find the new groupings below. They were seeded based on your last round scores. I have sent out the emails, so check if you haven’t already.
After the polarizing topics last round like pizza toppings, I have decided to calm things down around here and sprinkle in categories such as abortion, politics, and critiquing Survivor Writing entries.
Well, that’s enough hours of my night spent on you contestants. I’m going to get back to my puzzle. Good luck!

I feel very out of place in my group. So for this round, you can all call me “Bovak.”

When I grow up, I want to go to Bovak University!
(I tried.)

I realize now that my middle name starts with a “B”. It’s even there in my handle! Why oh why didn’t I just go with that?

Whoa, Bovak just opens up a world of words that I’ve never associated with you — bovine, bivouac, etc. Exciting!

I expect my group will have the worst score on the category I just finished writing clues for. Just sayin’.

Is there any way as guessers we can get the category before we send off for the clues? On the show, you know the category before the timer starts and it could help get me in the right frame of mind.

No. Other people have started, so I couldn’t do it this round anyway. I shouldn’t have done it the first round either. If it helps, there is a slight grace period on the timer, so you go ahead and take a few seconds at the start to get in the right frame of mind 🙂

Due to a tie that needs to be resolved, the results have been delayed until tonight/tomorrow.

Can’t you just resolve the tie by reference to round 1?
November 4, 2013 at 11:34 am
I could, but it doesn’t seem fair. One’s score in their own group is not a fair measure against someone in another group, since everyone had different clue lists to guess from and different people guessing their clues.

Is it resolved yet?!
