Role clarification: Norm Peterson can role-claim if they want to do so. However, if Norm does this they will be exposed to the wolves and will no longer be able to protect Sammy.

I will still only confirm Norm Peterson’s role upon death.

Was anyone else mildly confused by the death post? Would be nice to get a (bar patron) after the name or something. Took me a sec to remember who Sumner was and even then if that made him a good or bad person.

I don’t know what to make of the back and forth last night. Seemed a lot was being read into three Colin/novak/spooky posts for Day 1 posts. Of all the things though the point about Colin moving off novak then saying a lot of bad stuff about him was strange.

I’m no good at reads so I really wouldn’t have known who to vote for anyway.

Can’t really say to look to much into those making points on Colin today, cause that seemed like natural day 1 wolf hunting when you’re looking for something, anything that means something.

    Well then…

I see it’s been fairly quiet this morning. What’s the matter, don’t you patrons drink before noon?

I’d like to know what people who weren’t around at the end of last night think of how things went down. Knowing now that Prime was a villager makes me think we had villagers sitting around looking at other villagers. As is typical.

So I’d like to hear what Annette, BB8, Todah, and Adobery have to say. Except for Adobery, since he already commented I guess. Except his “I don’t know what to make of…” seems weak sauce, right?

I guess the one downside of no night kills is no reason for people to rush on and see what happened.

As I said earlier last night I would have preferred to miss on a quiet unhelpful person than a potentially helpful villagers down the line like a Novak or DPWY. Between those two only DPWY somewhat triggered me by refusing to switch off a joke Novak vote with no other reasoning behind it.

For the Colin voters I’d like to know why nibbish started the Colin train and also why spooky decided to jump on it. DG was pretty vocal about wanting a non Novak / DPWY option so I get it from him.

I guess I’ll vote DPWY because I’d like to hear from him most of the three.

Where did I refuse to switch? I voted for DG to try to get him talking (and it worked), and before that I hadn’t moved off Novak because I seemed to be the alternative at the time.

Simply put, it was the dirtiest comment of the day. The combination of unvoting DP while simultaneously talking about how suspicious he found him just felt way off.

I’m a villager and I know it. If he’s a wolf, why is he trying to target DPWY instead of me as a villager, when I have a ton of votes on me. Also, Nibs moved his vote off of me, which a wolf would have no incentive to do.

I feel like Nibs is as clean as he can be right now. This all obviously carries more weight for me since I know I’m a villager, but I don’t see a wolf Nibs acting this way.

Ah, I think that was actually the post that made me think DPWY was dirty for leaving his vote on you earlier. But then when I went back and read it today after he replied I realized it was all a big misunderstanding.

DP’s comment about that he’s “absolutely certain” that there’s a wolf between Spooky and I seems more off the more I think about it.

Why should either vote feel strange to him? There was an insane spread of votes — DP even mentioned it, and I was trying to distill that into a single target or two. It’s not like there wasn’t plenty of time to have other discussions and find new targets. To me, it’s way more strange that so many people were happy to spread votes everywhere without really trying to either stoke discussion or consolidate in any way.

    List? List.

Adobery – Seems off, but hard to tell whether it’s wolfy or neutral feeling. His posts last night lacked substance and this morning’s post (his only one so far) did, as well. Need to see more here.

DG – Seemed fairly standard day one DG. The jump at the end fits his stated goal of finding someone other than DP or Novak to vote for, and like I said, Colin’s post was the wolfiest of the day. I’m leaning villager.

Novak – Had his back to the wall last night. Switched his vote to Colin off of DP toward the evening and left it there through everything. Undecided. Slightly leaning villager.

Todahshy – Fairly quiet last night, other than advocating for voting out a quiet/inactive (left vote on BB8 all evening). Reasonably active today, prodding DP and I. Leaning villager.

Dread Pirate – The fact that he left his vote on Novak all evening, even when Novak was a vote away from being jailed struck me as odd. Like, I know he didn’t say that he wouldn’t take his vote off (he did, eventually), but it just feels like a wolf hoping for a cheapie. His “either spooky or nibbish is a wolf” thing strikes me as odd. Leaning wolf.

Annette – Nothing ob substance.Lots of vote flippery with very little explanation. I know it was day one, but now it’s day two. Let’s hear some things!

BB8 – Dropped fifth vote on Novak. He’s new, but that cuts both ways here. Votes me today. Hard to read, any bias either way really colors what you think of his actions. If you look at them charitably, he’s a new player who cast a dangerous vote. If not, he’s a new wolf who was trying to get quick kill without realizing how that would make it look.

Spooky – I can never, ever read Spooky. His day one was weird, but he had real life stuff. He jumped on the Colin train at the end, mentioning that Colin’s post was wolfy.

This post and the one after it. Who were you referring to when you said “I don’t really like either option?” It didn’t seem in direct response to anyone’s post. Was it the novak/pirate vote leaders at the time? I’m guessing that’s what your nested response was to clarify.

Was there a reason you didn’t like either of them? You never said. Or was it because you had the interest in spooky?

    Matt
“No thoughts on Adobery, except I don’t like his “I’ll leave my vote where it is” thing.”

What was wrong with that? I had put it out there we should consolidate votes and get two with more votes on them. I had to leave for the night and Pirate still had multiple votes, with you having 5.

If I move my vote it would be random as I had no ideas, and everyone else had 1 vote at the time so would defeat the purpose of keeping two under pressure, and I wouldn’t be around to explain or question or anything.

I didn’t like it because it seemed out of character – an hour before the deadline you announce that you’re gonna be gone for an hour and definitely won’t make it back – none of the usual “I gotta run, but hopefully I can check in” stuff. It just sounded off to me.

I didn’t have a problem with the vote switch part because the numbers made sense. It was just the tone that seemed off.

Seriously though, I thought Colin looked wolfy last night, I voted there, lots of others agreed.

Last night I thought Nibs seemed clean – again, I don’t think Wolf Nibs points out DPWY’s stuff because I know I’m a villager. I know you all don’t have that confidence in that assessment, but I just don’t see it with Nibs, precisely because I know my role. I’d encourage a look other places.

I think Todah has seemed pretty villagery today with his hunting. He is present and asking questions, which gives us something to go on.

I think Adobery seems a little off, but the things that are off are just little tone things, nothing of substance. And he’s participating.

You’ve been largely absent, so not a lot to go on, but your night 1 seemed pretty typical for a Spooky villager – you saw something suspicious in Colin and moved on it, per usual.

Nothing stood out to me either way about DG or Annette. DPWY has some attention already. Thus, I think we should focus on the quietest villager who has been throwing around phrases like “seemed suspicious” without giving that any content.

I’ll be AFK for most of the night. I’ll be helping running a city council meeting on zoom. I may be able to tune in on my phone from time to time, but can’t really count on being available. If the meeting runs long, I won’t be back. If it goes quick, I’ll be back for the end.

I think right now 8BSEMT8 is the best vote, as they’ve provided little-to-no substance, and aren’t really helping the village. If that changes tonight, good. I also feel like Nettie could step up more.

Right now Todahshy, Nibbish, and Spooky seem cleanest to me, and I think all 3 are reliable hunters who we would be unwise to target, again, barring any revealing changes tonight.

Read the last many hours. I know I haven’t contributed much yet, but been a busy day.

daneekasGhost – ? Wish was around more today with the Carla Curse gone. Didn’t seem wolfy yesterday.

mbNovak — seems villagery so far. Maybe cause last time I was his target when he was a wolf, but I’m not picking up that same vibe. No fake “let’s explore this rule” play or picking on anyone yet over minute things. Maybe that happens in day three

todahshy — nothing wolfy. Don’t know his play style

nibbish – Villager. His list had a villager vibe to me, the things he pointed out that people did. I think usually villager Pete is more absent and confused, but he’s got more time on his hands with the stay-at-home stuff so his increased activity doesn’t seem wolfy to me.

8BSEMT8 — My son. His first game. I don’t know if his “your suspicious” is just cause he doesn’t know what he should be doing yet, or he’s too busy with other extra curricular fun. I would think his wolf mate would coach him a little better if he was a wolf. Not jumping to conclusions yet.

spookymilk (1) — ? Nothing yet. Usually poking people more, but he’s got life going on.

The Dread Pirate & Annette – I’d be ok with a vote on either of these. Since I’m getting villager vibe off Nibbish, I’ll go with his judgement on thinking DP is seeming wolfy. I don’t know Annette’s game, I’m not getting much helpful off her.

    unvote dread pirate
    vote Nettie

I have to stop reading everything Pirate says in a negative light. I’m going over everything he’s said with the viewpoint that a wolf is saying them. When you look at things that way, everything looks bad.

Nettie’s acting like she’s wolf hunting, but she isn’t. Her latching onto me after I lightly called out her retrospect is the wolfiest thing I’ve seen today. At this point, i should just trust my instinct.

So, nettie or nibs? What fresh hell is this?

vote nettie because there’s almost never enough content to read.

Any other reason for nettie over nibbs besides “she hasn’t said much”?

Gary sat down at the table with nettiebarron, who was digging into her Smorgastarta and Spanokopita, prepared by the finest chefs at Melville’s.

“Are you Sam Malone,” Gary asked?

.“That barkeep I used to look good for reelection but then fell in love with for real? Fraid not.”
