Chris took what I thought would be a big lead, until Heather came in at the last minute and nearly matched his score. This was hard (and you let me know) with the lower charting songs, and random.org not being kind at times. I was accused of cruelty for some songs and for songs I left out. Again, blame random.org.

2014 #56 “Sing” — Ed Sheeran
2019 #86 “Good as You” — Kane Brown
Interesting tidbits.
- Chris had 3 correct answers from spots 3-4
- Heather was the only player to ace a decade (80s, no surprise to me)
- Jealous by Nick Jonas was correctly answered by all who played that one, and I’ve never heard of it.
- On Bended Knee was the incorrectly answered several times as “I’ll Make Love to You”
- I received several in-game complaints with the similar message of “WTF. Where is all the grunge and alternative in the 90s” or “What is up with all the R&B”. Sorry, blame random.org
- 1990s_two had zero correct answers, but also had many inccorrect artist guesses. Aaliyah, Brandi, Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton.
- 1990s_one had the most correct artist guesses when the player could not get the song
- Randy was the only player to attempt more than two 60s tunes, and he took 3/4.
- 60s and 70s tied for least played, with the 70s getting the least correct guesses. Turns out I would have most likely scored the best in the 70s.
- 2000s earned the most points with 15 correct answers.
- Thriller was quite the anomaly in spot 4. It was released at the end of the year and therefore didn’t get enough airplay/sales to rank high on that year end chart. It would have probably been one of most correctly guessed songs, but only one player attempted it.
- “Bent” earned the most points with 8 correct, closely followed by “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” and “Everyday People” with 7 correct.

Turns out I don’t know anything about popular music. There’s only two on that whole list I would have gotten.
-
I might have gotten two or three in addition to the six I did get (ALL from 2000 and 2010) if I had expanded to all 24. My lack of knowledge of R&B was coming for me.
For those who are wondering where all the alt rock was in the 90s, a lot of the stuff we think of as omnipresent generally didn’t make it above 50 or so. It was a LOT of Mariah Carey and Boyz to Men type stuff, which is why I avoided that decade as much as I could in this game.
-
Is it possible to hear the tidbits you played? I’m curious as to how difficult these were to identify.
