Goofs and gaffes all over the place this week, but that was just me. Good job this week puzzlers. Congrats to Brendon and Peggy, the only two to discover the bonus this week. Peggy got a perfect score…go Mom!
The bonus answer this week was to be found in the Quote in a Box puzzle. The answers to the four equations were 9, 4, 15 and 12. If you swap those numbers for the letter of the alphabet at those positions you get IDOL! Good try to those of you who combined the numbers in some fashion (Greekhouse may want to do an in-service on the order of operations).

I put the numbers in as latitude and longitude. Lagos, Nigeria is not the correct answer.

I wondered if that was an in joke from a past survivor idol. I looked up Lagos and the listed Lat/Lon was not anything close to that.

Indeed, a Survivor IX hidden immunity idol hinged on the latitude and longitude of Plainview, Texas (“The idol is hidden in plain view”).

I didn’t get eldrick for a long time.
“Endorser” was like the top entry (because it uses all letters) on the anagram machine. I got that at about the same time as Tiger Woods.I didn’t have “Kipling” and then gave up. I had it as “Pete King”, but that wasn’t “Peter King” so I wasn’t satisfied. Also, Cummings could have been “C. Mingus”, an author for his autobiography. (But I knew that wasn’t the right answer.)
